Berkeley's School of Public Health has offered degree programs in global health for more than a decade. These include:
Infectious Disease & Immunity
The PhD program in Infectious Diseases & Immunity is an interdisciplinary immunology and infectious disease research program with an emphasis in Global Health. The degree offers rigorous training in bench science coupled with population health research methods and experience collaborating with developing country research institutions.
Global Poverty and Practice Minor
The Blum Center for Developing Economies sponsors an undergraduate minor in Global Poverty and Practice, housed in the International and Area Studies Teaching Program. The minor trains students in the study and analysis of global poverty and is open to undergraduate students in all disciplines.
