The Center for Global Public Health is a multidisciplinary center at UC Berkeley that serves to synergize faculty research on critical global health issues, facilitate the training of the next generation of researchers and leaders in global public health, inform and educate the media, government, multi-lateral agencies, the general public and private sector donors about global health issues and solutions, and foster partnerships to facilitate evidence-based implementation designs that delivers measurable public health impact at the community level.

CGPH Activities

The CGPH is proud to host monthly Evening Seminars in Global Health. These informal events feature international experts discussing current topics in global health. The CGPH fall seminar series offers a chance to explore global health issues with Berkeley faculty and guests in a casual environment. Light refreshments are served, reservations are required, and seating is very limited.

The Center of Global Public Health has also begun a monthly brown bag lunch series, highlighting local and international non-profit organizations working in global health. The new non-profit spotlight series highlights opportunities, institutions, projects, and potential internships in global health, and is intended to explore the question "What career opportunities exist in global health?"
