Global Health Equity Fellowship

The Global Health Equity Scholars (GHES) program, administered through UC Berkeley, is pleased to announce a new 1-year fellowship for postdocs, upper-level PhD students and medical profession students.
 
The application process is electronic and the deadline for submission is May 28, 2012 by 3pm PST.

   2nd Annual Bay Area Viruses Symposium

The Bay Area Viruses Symposium aims to strengthen interactions among local scientists who share a strong interest in virology and related research. The organizaing committee includes Laurent Coscoy (UC Berkeley), Paul Luciw (UC Davis), Melanie Ott (Gladstone) and Peter Sarnow (Stanford).

Orientation Materials Now Available!
Many UC Berkeley students will have opportunities to travel abroad to conduct research with collaborators in low- or middle-income countries. CEND and CGPH have assembled a package of orientation materials to help you prepare for this experience. We've included information about campus requirements for university-related travel, as well as best practices for building and maintaining successful international collaborations.
